Phases of the Project:
Textual Analysis:
Corpora Creation: Building separate Italian and English corpora.
Examination: Analysing textual elements to see if topics such as multilingualism, multiculturalism, social inclusion, language policies, and language education for sustainable development are addressed.
Tools: Using Sketch Engine for corpus-based analysis, focusing on frequency lists, concordances, and word clusters.
Collaboration: Four RUs will classify data into macro-areas of interest.
Stakeholder Evaluation:
Survey: Conducting a survey to explore stakeholders’ attitudes towards the concepts presented in the websites.
Participants: Involving students, staff, and personnel from related institutions.
Questionnaire Development: Informed by Phase 1 findings and piloted before wider distribution.
Analysis: Quantitative and qualitative analysis of survey data, comparing it with Phase 1 results.
User Engagement Investigation:
Think-Aloud Protocols: Collecting data through concurrent verbal reports to understand users' thought processes.
Qualitative Analysis: Coding data based on emerging trends and grouping into categories.
Final Task:
Creation of Contextualised Glossaries: Developing glossaries related to multilingualism, multiculturalism, and language education for sustainable development.
Multilingual Corpora: Creating online archives for Language Centres, universities, and cultural enterprises.
