Analysis: Examining lexical content, discourse structure, and argumentative strategies using corpus linguistics, text mining, and sentiment analysis.
Data Structuring: Transforming unstructured data into structured information to align EULCs’ values and knowledge transfer.
Second Phase:
Data Classification: Organising data into macro-areas of interest, such as:
University Language Centre self-representations (internationalisation, multilingualism, multiculturalism, language education for sustainable development).
Language representation of CLIL/EMI/LSP programs.
University Sport clubs and Fitness centres as multicultural/multilingual social interaction and inclusion spaces.
Third Phase:
Visual Analysis: Analysing visual organisational characteristics of websites, focusing on pages with multimodal elements.
Semiotic Analysis: Investigating verbal and non-verbal semiotic codes to understand their role in meaning-making.
Fourth Phase:
GeM Model Application: Using the Genre and Multimodality Model to empirically analyse data, focusing on language visibility and status, and institutional self-representation in terms of language diversity and multiculturalism.
Final Task:
Framework Development: Creating a framework to:
Develop visual-specific content for the web.
Improve EULCs’ visual content for knowledge transfer.
